Scalemail

Scalemail (named in part because its Attributes spell out SCALE) is a fun fantasy RPG from Cursed20 Games that has an OSR feel but with streamlined modern rules. This one flew under the radar for a lot of people, but I genuinely feel it deserves more attention. I was fortunate enough to co-edit the main rulebook and appreciated its balance. It's rules-light without ever feeling arbitrary, and characters can be unique and customized without getting bogged down in long skill lists.

Scalemail Character Creation Reference (PDF)

This doesn't replace the rulebook, obviously, but I find it nice to have all the options laid out in front of you when putting your hero together. No instructions needed, print however you want.

Scalemail Rules Reference (PDF)

Having this double-sided 4.25"×5.5" reference sheet at hand should answer 90% of the rules questions that come up.

Instructions:

• Print double-sided on cardstock and cut into 4 reference sheets.
• If you don't have cardstock, print single-sided on normal paper, cut horizontally, fold in half, and tape for 2 reference sheets.
• Make sure you print at 100%, not "Fit to Page"!
