The first section on this page is a list of all relevant power lists, sorted first by cosm, then by archetype, then by the controlling skill, to better help players decide how to build their Storm Knights. They also include TorgHacker's excellent "alternative arcane failure modes" (originally posted here), which go a long way toward helping different types of arcane Storm Knights feel different.

The second is a list of all Torg psionic powers, using the same page reference format as my Perk list, for ease of reference.

Note: The addendum "(or LRC)" in the Range stat is a reminder that contradictory effects are limited to a range of one kilometer, per the Long-Range Contradictions rules on p. 180.

Psychic Paradigms

Unlike magic or miracles, using a psionic power requires no speech or movement.

On a failure the psi takes 2 Shock.

On a Mishap, the psi takes 1 Wound which may be soaked normally (no Shock).

Any power marked with a (β) is not available until Beta clearance.

(Note: Per errata, telekinesis no longer appears on certain lists.)

(Clarifications: You may sustain this power via concentration, rolling each round, until you fail to overcome the victim's resistance at which point it's an action to attempt it again. Multiple uses of Strangle or any other source of Shock loss do not stack on the same subject; the victim suffers the worst of all possible Shock loss results each turn.)

Telekinesis allows a psi to move objects with her mind. The psi’s Spirit is her Strength once activated, but she continues to use her own skills as usual. If she wishes to grab a creature, she must use the Grappling rules as normal. A psi can move up to two objects at one time (including herself to "fly"). She must be able to lift the combined weight of the objects, and they move up to her walking speed.

Success Levels:

  • Good: Range of 50 meters and add +2 to the power’s effective Strength.
  • Outstanding: Range of 50 meters and add +4 to the power’s effective Strength.

(Note: This is the official errata for this power. Some further clarifications: A TK grapple does not catch the target Flat-Footed; assume they can sense it so it is not treated as an invisible attack. When fighting with TK, all combat skills remain based on Dexterity.)
